10th World Congress on Prevention of Diabetes and its Complications

10th World Congress on World Congress on Prevention of Diabetes and Its Complications (WCPD10) is organized by Conference Partners International (CPI) and will be held from Jul 15 – 18, 2018 at Edinburgh International Conference Centre, Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom.

WCPD is a global forum where experts on diabetes and prevention meet and all participants can enjoy high-quality scientific discussions on principles of diabetes prevention and listen to the experiences from diabetes prevention programmes that have been implemented in various countries.

During the past 10 years increasing evidence on the potential for prevention of type 2 diabetes has been obtained, including pharmacologic treatment, and the knowledge on the prevention of complications of diabetes has been strengthened. It is this increased knowledge and research which has shaped the themes for this year’s event and driven the focus for all sessions.

This will be the 10th in the series providing an ideal opportunity for reflection on developments over the last two decades as well as focusing on future developments. The programme will feature internationally recognized research leaders in risk, prevention and pathology of all forms of diabetes as well as highlighting progress in Prevention programmes around the globe and effectiveness of lifestyle and surgical interventions
