Epidemiology and Prevention, Nutrition, Physical Activity & MetabolismThe EPI/NPAM Spring 2014 Scientífic Sessions are unique in content and format. The primary goal is to promote the development and application of translational and population science strategies related to the prevention of heart disease and stroke and promotion of cardiovascular health. Global cardiovascular public health needs and the reduction of health disparities related to cardiovascular risk will be emphasized this year.
The Councils on Epidemiology & Prevention (EPI) and Lifestyle and Cardiometabolic Health (formerly Nutrition, Physical Activity & Metabolism) jointly plan the EPI/NPAM Spring 2014 Scientific Sessions. The sessions focus on risk factors, obesity, nutrition, physical activity, genetics, metabolism, biomarkers, subclinical disease, clinical disease, healthy populations, global health, and prevention-oriented clinical trials.
