Several topics are covered such as the biology of adipose tissue dysfunction, body fat distribution, mechanisms by which adipose tissue has an effect on the cardiovascular and metabolic systems, the cardiovascular risk of the metabolically healthy obese patient and the clinical implications of obesity heterogeneity.
